Background of the issue:
I am using WPML with Formidable Forms (Lite) and the Bellevue Theme on my website hidden link. My website is translated into three languages (FR, NL, EN), and I have created a 'Contact US' form using Formidable Forms Lite. Every field and most error messages have been translated correctly using WPML's string translation functionality.
Symptoms:
When users submit an empty form, an error message appears on top, and that specific message remains in English regardless of the language selected. The string 'there was a problem with your submission ...' is correctly translated in all three languages, but the issue persists.
Questions:
Can you help me identify why the error message remains in English despite being translated?
Is there a hidden string not found by WPML that could be causing this issue?

According to our documentation, you need the PRO version of Formidable Forms, which comes with the addon Formidable WP Multilingual, to be able to translate the forms.
This WPML integration is handled by Formidable Forms. I suggest you consult them first to see if this behavior would be expected if you use the Lit version of the plugin, and let us know if further assistance from our side will be required.

To my knowledge, the Pro version of Formidable Forms is required for full WPML integration, including the advanced translation editor, whole forms being translated as a whole in every language.
This is not what I am requesting here. If I have understood your policy right, WPML should be able to translate 100% of the strings appearing online, whatever the plugin being used.
As you can see on my screenshots, all other FF error messages are translated correctly thanks to the string translation functionality.
So I was wondering why this specific string isn't appearing like the many others.
The "Formidable WP Multilingual Add-On" is not developed by WPML.
I created a sandbox using the Lite version of Formidable Forms, and the translation does not work at all. The Form post type is not available inside WPML's settings, and I can not even locate the strings of the form. Only strings coming directly from the plugin's files are registered this way.

This is why Formidable Forms provides its own translation interface when using the PRO version and its WPML addon.
Additional strings might be translatable with WPML String Translation, apart from those strings that are registered inside the Formidable Forms translation interface.
Please consult the Formidable Forms Support about this first, and then get back to be in case further assistance is needed.

Based on your latest tips and tricks, I have installed & activated WPForms Lite & WPForms multilingual plugins, which are fully compatible with WPML.
Normally I should find my WPForms to be translated under WPML - Translation Dashboard - WPForms section, but the specific tab "WPForms" isn't appearing anymore.
Upon installation, I was able to open the tab and translate my first form to FR and NL, but after this initial translation WPForms did disappear from the Dashboard. Since screenshot.
I tried to deactivate all plugins except WPML and WPForms, no improvement.
Do you have any idea how to solve this issue ?
I found the solution, a filter was active on the Translation Dashboard, making WPForms hidden since all translations were complete.
