I'm having a problem where if I work on translations in the ATE and then click "Complete", sometimes the translations queue shows the jobs as In Progress even though they are actually done. |

Can you please double check the credentials? I get the error "ERROR: Incorrect Username or Password". You can edit the previous reply and update the credentials as needed. |

Okay, so in the test site, I deactivated minimal settings and switched to a default theme. I then tested the KYT page since that was the only one I saw showing as In Progress. I edited the page, clicked Update, and then updated each translation. I made sure each translation showed 100%. After that, I went to the Translation Management -> Jobs and all the ones I tested now show Complete. So it seems likely that something is interfering with the translation process. YOu can use the staging site to activate theme/plugins and see if or when the issue returns. and then we can further troubleshoot the issue. |

hidden link Hi Lauren, I've been testing a few things related to what you advised, and I'm running into weird problems. So the link above is a different test site with a copy of our latest content and the latest plugin updates. I've switched to a stock theme and deactivated all plugins except for ACF Pro and the WPML plugins. And the page linked above still shows a 404 error, as you'll notice. Oddly, when I log into the site and look at the page while logged in, there's no 404 error. If I re-translate the page, sometimes the translation will work normally, and sometimes it won't. Would you have any suggestions at this point? I've tried toggling a few WPML settings but nothing so far seems to make the translations work reliably anymore. I think the problem started after the update to the latest versions of WPML, 4.6.x |

If you want to login, the credentials for this "translations" test site are the same as the ones you used for the other "wmplsync" site. |

I found that changing the domain slightly resolved the issue for the page that was showing 404 when not logged in: However, since this is a separate issue from what the oriignal issue was, please open up a new ticket specifcally for the domain issue. In this ticket, I will continue addressing the pages that are stuck in progress. Can you tell me which page or post you are testing in minimal settings that is still stuck as in progress so that I can take a look? Thanks. |

Hey Laura, sorry for the slow reply. I'm mostly out of the office this week, mostly unplanned, due to a sick family member. Here's a page that seems to get "stuck" as an active translation even if I switch to a stock theme and then re-translate it: hidden link At the moment, I completed a test translation into Japanese but the translation queue still shows the translation work as underway. |

Hi there, sorry to hear about your family member I hope they are feeling better soon! I just checked the page you referenced: hidden link I checked the Translation Management dashboard and it shows Japanese as complete. I checked Translation Management Jobs and it shows as complete there as well. I checked the list of Pages and I can see the pencil icon (indicating it is completed). I noted the Spanish had a circle icon, so I opened the translation and saved it as complete, and that one shows as completed now as well. Can you tell me where you are seeing the Japanese Translation for this page as stuck in progress? A screenshot may help as well. I am attaching screenshots of my findings here. |

Hi, thanks for your patience. I've been trying various combinations of testing on local versus hosted environments, testing with a stock theme versus not, and I hope to have more definitive info soon. And since we last spoke, there have been updates to ACF and WPML's ACFML, so I'm testing changes against these updated plugins. Will be in touch again soon. |

hidden link (22m 22s) Hey Lauren, I'm able to recreate the "In progress" bug even with a stock theme and only stock plugins (e.g. Classic Editor) and WPML plugins. Somehow, when I deactivated custom plugins and our custom theme, the problem got worse as you'll see in the video above, which was surprising. (If you watch the video, you might want to do so on 2x speed in order to get through it quickly.)
