qij	Background of the issue: I am trying to configure the language settings on my website, hidden link, using WPML. The site is set up with English and German languages, with German as the default. Symptoms: When I visit the homepage, it automatically redirects to the English page instead of displaying the German homepage URL. Additionally, there is no language selection button at the bottom of the website, which should offer English and German options. Questions: How can I ensure the homepage displays the German URL by default instead of redirecting to the English page? How can I add a language selection button at the bottom of the website to switch between English and German?

Background of the issue:
