Background of the issue:
We moved the trailers and hammer destroyers to the 'Destroyers' subcategory. Most models have been completed in both languages. We tried to change the view from mobile on the RM83G and RM952 models and the English translation was broken. When we went into the specific products and went to edit the translation again to display it correctly, we noticed that the automatic translation plugin only reached a point from the descriptions that had been made with Elementor. This means that the rest are not translated automatically but only manually through Elementor directly into English.
Symptoms:
The English translation was broken when changing the view from mobile on the RM83G and RM952 models. The automatic translation plugin only partially translated the descriptions made with Elementor.
Questions:
Why is the automatic translation plugin not translating the entire description made with Elementor?
How can I fix the broken English translation for the RM83G and RM952 models?
If content was translated using the manual method via Elementor then that translation would not exist within the advanced translation editor as the two do not communicate.
Do you know if the translations were added manually before? If that is the case the moment you translate using the editor it will overwrite them.
Typically we suggest using only one method for translations to avoid this unless you are manually translating a small piece of the context.
I translated the product with manual translation via WPML Translation Editor. In the texts i have added some icons like ✔, 📌. When i removed them from the text, the texts appeard correct and i was able to translate them. Is there any chance the icons to affect the translation leading to loss of texts for translation.
Removing the emojis should not have affected the translation, did you remove them while using the Translation Editor (side to side) or the standard WP Editor?
I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)
