This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is experiencing an issue where only the English language option is visible on the frontend. The second language does not appear in the dropdown or footer. Additionally, when attempting to access the French version of the site by typing

domain.com/fr

, the default English site loads instead of the French version.
Solution:
1. We recommend checking if the content on the page has been translated and ensuring that the translation is published and not in a 'draft' or 'under review' status.
2. If the translation is finished and published, accessing the URL with the language code (e.g.,

domain.com/fr

) should automatically display the translated version of the site in that language. This is the expected behavior, and no special settings are required for it to work.
If this solution does not seem relevant to your issue, please feel free to open a new support ticket with us.

On the frontend, only English option is showing. The second language option is not showing in dropdown or at the footer.
If I open the URL hidden link , it opens the default site not the French version.

Hi there.

Can you please let me know if you translated the content already?

Because if the content was not translated already, seeing just one of the language flags (one language) in the language switcher is something normal.

Please check if the page that you are looking at has been translated - or if the translation has been published and is not in "draft" mode or "under review" status.

Please let me know how that goes.

Kind regards,
Mihai Apetrei

How do we do the settings that when domain.com/fr is typed, the french version opens up, and without that the default english one opens.

Hi there.

As long as the translation is finished and published, that is exactly what it should happen when you are accessing that URL. That should be the normal behaviour. You wouldn't need to do anything special for that to happen.
