Hello,

Welcome to the WPML support forum. To help speed up the support process, I've enabled a private message for submitting the debug information for this support ticket. Please follow these initial debugging steps:
https://wpml.org/faq/provide-debug-information-faster-support/
In short:
- Go to "WPML > Support > Debug Information" (link)
- Copy the Debug Information from there.
- Find the private field I activated and paste that information.

Now regarding your question, I'm not sure to fully understand so I'll give a general answer and different pointers:
1. You can have a separate homepage per language (not country).
Let say that your primary language is English and your secondary language is Spanish
- In WPML > Settings > Language URL format you can have languages in directories. In that case your English homepage will be example.com and the Spanish homepage will be example.com/es

2. You can also have custom languages for local languages (French from France and French from Canada). Is that what you meant by "for each country"?
Here is the guide to create languages: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/editing-wpmls-languages-table/

3. Now, if by "separate homepage" you mean different content/layout. That's also possible!
In that case it's not a translation but a localization. You can achieve that by deactivating our editor and translate manually your page. Here is the full tutorial: https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/

If I didn't understand your question correctly, please elaborate a bit more.
