Background of the issue:
I added the language switcher to my menu on my site hidden link. I want that when I click on the language, the dropdown appears instead of going to the page again.

Symptoms:
When I click on the language and not on the arrow on a mobile, the page refreshes.

Questions:
How can I make the dropdown appear when clicking on the language in the menu on mobile?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. Could you please try to add the below CSS in custom CSS section of your theme:

.ast-header-break-point .main-header-bar-navigation .menu-item-has-children>.ast-menu-toggle {
	width: 100%;
}

.ast-icon.icon-arrow {
	float: right;
}

And see if this resolves the issue.

If the issue persists, please provide temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP Login info) to your site (preferably staging site), so that I can look into your setup and debug the issue.

Your next answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.

=== Please backup your database and website ===

✙ I would additionally need your permission to deactivate and reactivate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is essential.

Thank you
