This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The client reported an issue where a translated media photo was not appearing in the English version of their website. The photo was assigned in media translation, but it did not display on the frontend.
Solution:
We resolved the issue through several steps:
1. We recommended registering custom Elementor Widgets for translation using an XML file. You can read our tutorial here: https://wpml.org/documentation/support/multilingual-tools/registering-custom-elementor-widgets-for-translation/
2. The issue of the image not appearing was because it was added as a background but the slide had no content. Moving the image inside the content resolved the issue.
3. When translating the page, it is necessary to search for "http" to find and manually translate links such as image links.
If this solution does not resolve your issue, or if it seems outdated or irrelevant to your case, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins.
