Background of the issue:
I am trying to use the translation management dashboard in WPML. It worked once, but now no items are showing up. You can see the issue here: hidden link

Symptoms:
The translation management dashboard items are not showing after initially working once.

Questions:
Why are the translation management dashboard items not showing after the first use?
How can I resolve the issue of items not appearing in the translation management dashboard?

Hi,

Thank you for contacting WPML Support. Could you please try another browser and see if it’s a browser specific issue.

If the issue persists, please enable error reporting on your site as I need to see the details of the latest error log to understand the cause of the issue better. To enable it, open your ‘wp-config.php’ file and look for ‘define(‘WP_DEBUG’, false);’. Change it to:

// Enable WP_DEBUG mode
define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

// Enable Debug logging to the /wp-content/debug.log file
define( 'WP_DEBUG_LOG', true );

// Disable display of errors and warnings
define( 'WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY', false );
@ini_set( 'display_errors', 0 );

define( 'SCRIPT_DEBUG', true );

After adding the above code, please try to access the WPML >> Translation Management page again, and if this process creates a debug.log file in your site's wp-content directory. Please send me its contents.

Thank you

Hi,
unfortunately it happens now the same with firefox.
After that I tried an Inkognito window on chrome and it first the items are displayed but when I click on a accordeon of some of the items all the items disappear again.
So there is problem to fix.

I did the thing with the wp-config but no file is created.

Alles Gute,
André

Thanks for trying the above suggested steps and sharing additional details. Could you please follow the below steps and let me know how it goes:

1. Please make sure the default language is selected from the admin language switcher when you visit the WPML >> Translation Management page as you can see in the attached screenshot.

2. Please try to press the “Clear Filters” button and see if it makes any difference (screenshot attached).

3. If the issue persists, please try to follow the below steps on staging/test site to isolate the cause of this issue:
3.1. Take a complete backup of your site first for safety reasons.
3.2. Deactivate all plugins except WPML and its add-ons.
3.3. Switch to the default WP theme like 2024.
3.4. If the issue is gone, reactivate each plugin one by one to identify the one causing the issue.

Kindly let me know the results,
Thank you for your cooperation

Thankyou.

I tried this and I found out that it works when I deactivate DIVI Machine.

Of course everything has the latest update.

What can I do now?

Thanks for trying the above steps to isolate the issue. When we identify a compatibility conflict, we need to replicate it on a fresh WordPress site before escalating it to our compatibility team.

I’ve set up a fresh WordPress site with WPML installed and configured. Could you please try to replicate the issue there so we can escalate it? Here are the steps:

1. Login to the fresh WP site by clicking on the auto login URL:
hidden link

2. Install the latest version of Divi theme and required plugin.

3. Install/activate the Divi Machine plugin.

4. Set up these plugins the same way they are configured on your site, only configure required options that are related to this particular issue.

5. Try to access the WPML >> Translation Management page.

Please note that we only need to test the specific plugin functionality, there’s no need to set up a full site or clone your existing one.

Let us know the steps you followed on the fresh site and whether you were able to replicate the issue.

Thank you for your cooperation
