Applications in WP Jobmanager gives wrong number in dashboard

ericH-23	Background of the issue: I am working on a site under development using WP Jobmanager. I want to ensure that when a candidate applies for a job, the employer sees the correct number of applications in their dashboard. I tested a lot in a staging site and cannot change this, own code is deactivated and it remains. Symptoms: The dashboard shows '11 application' when there is one application and '44 applications' instead of 4. Questions: Why does the dashboard show incorrect application numbers? How can I fix the application count issue in the dashboard?
