This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
We need to redesign the language switcher.
We want to use a globe icon and when hovering over it we will see the list of all languages.
Solution:
At the moment it's not possible to create the language switcher in the way you mentioned without using custom programming which is beyond the scope of our support forum.
However, I will try to point you in the correct direction. You can create a custom language switcher by following our documentation guide here: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/language-setup/custom-language-switcher/
Then to add it to a div container that appears when hovering over the icon, please check this tutorial for more details: https://www.w3schools.com/howto/howto_css_display_element_hover.asp
