[Resolved] Edit translations from translation service
This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem: The client is unsure whether to make translation changes manually within their site or send them to memoQ. Solution: If you're experiencing similar confusion about where to make translation changes, we recommend the following steps: 1. If you want to change some of the translations, you can do it yourself directly in WPML. This allows you to manage and apply changes immediately without needing to contact memoQ. 2. However, if you prefer that memoQ handles the changes, you should contact them directly. This is not managed through WPML.
Please note that this solution might be outdated or not applicable to your specific case. We highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If this does not resolve your issue, please open a new support ticket.

Background of the issue:
I am working on hidden link, and using the memoQ translation service via WPML. I want to make changes to some of the translated content we receive.
Symptoms:
Unclear whether to make translation changes manually within the site or send them to memoQ.
Questions:
Should we make translation changes manually within our site or send the requested changes to memoQ?
If we need to send changes to memoQ, is there a preferred way to do this, or is that a question for memoQ?
While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.
Translation done via translation service will not be visible in ATE WPML editor, you either need to disable WPML editor and do this manually or use Classic Translation editor from WPML.
Thank you for contacting WPML Support. It's entirely up to you.
- If you prefer to make the changes yourself, you have two options:
1. Using the default WP Editor:
1.1. Open the default language page in Edit mode.
1.2. Enable the default WordPress Editor for that specific page from Languages metabox.
1.3. Edit the translation directly within the WordPress editor.
2. Classic Translation Editor:
2.1. Enable the Classic Translation Editor from the WPML >> Settings page.
2.2. Edit the translation using the Classic Editor.
To clarify, we've already sent English content for translation into French by a translation service (memoQ), and have received their translations. However, we'd like to change some of the French they provided. Do we need to do this ourselves manually, or should we contact memoQ about these preferred translations? If we contact them, is that through WPML, or do we contact them directly?
