Background of the issue:
I have translated products from English to French using WPML for hidden link (Eng. Version) to hidden link (French Version).
Symptoms:
For products, fields such as price, SKU, and attribute value are not editable for the French-language website. I get a message that says 'Field is locked for editing because WPML will copy its value from the original language.'
Questions:
How do I unlock these fields so that they can be edited in the French-language website?

The debug info will give me much information about how your site is configured.
Please check the French version of this product. If you can see it correctly, that means the product is initially created in French.
If you see the lock icon in French and English, I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated.
Your answer will be private, meaning only you and I can access it.
