Hi,

I cannot open a new ticket for the following problem. Could you open it yourself?

We are facing the following issue related to product translations.

We use the Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce plugin to create custom tabs. In these tabs we have added some pdfs in the original language (Greek) and we have tried to upload the corresponding PDFs in the second language (English), either from Media Translation or directly from Media (in English).

The English pdfs are displayed correctly, but when we edit the translation of an English product through the Advanced Translation Editor, the Pdf is displayed incorrectly in the main language (Greek) in the English product on the front end.

For example: hidden link

We tried to add the custom tabs (and their corresponding content) also through the option provided by the porto theme (i.e. the theme we use) and the problem persists.

For example: hidden link

Also, in some English products the tab name appears translated and in others not. This occurs only on tabs that have been added with the Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce plugin.

We have already tried disabling the Custom Product Tabs for WooCommerce plugin, or doing Sync products variations or clear cache.

Can you help us with the above?

Hello,

You might need to translate the URLs of your media attachments.

First, upload alternative media at WPML > Media Translation.

Then go to your media library, switch the language inside the top admin bar, search the alternative media file, and copy its source URL.

Now, translate the product again.

On the top right of the WPML Advanced Translation Editor use the text search field and type "http".
Search for the source URL of the original media file and translate it.

If this will not solve the issue, please let me know but take note that you already had a ticket with Laura about this, who suggested using global attributes which are declared at Products > Attributes and are getting translated to WooCommerce > WooCommerce Multilingual & Multi-Currency > Attributes.

Best regards
Andreas
