Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate the homepage into Spanish using WPML. The issue occurs only on the homepage. Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link

Symptoms:
WPML tried to translate this page three times and failed. To get it fixed, contact WPML support.

Questions:
Why does the translation fail specifically on the homepage?
How can I resolve the WPML error message after three failed attempts?

Hello Itamar,

Related to the sync issue, another developer discovered a conflict with WP Offload Media.

I need both WPML and offload to work together. He told me to update my issue internally.

Please let me know, as I need to launch the project this week.

Thanks for your help

Hi,

Our second-tier supporter suspects a collision between Elementor and the WP Offload Media plugin, which, when combined with WPML, causes this problem. With a page created with Elementor, it is not possible to finish the translation.

We need to replicate this issue on a fresh WordPress installation. Then I'll be able to escalate it to our compatibility team. To achieve this, I created a test website with a clean WordPress installation. You can access it through this link:

With this link, you'll be directly logged in.

I configured WPML on this site to have English as the default language and Spanish as the second language. I also installed and activated Elementor + Pro. We don't have a license for the WP Offload Media plugin.

Could you please install the WP Offload Media plugin and see if the issue is replicable on a clean WordPress installation?

Please also make sure that you are installing the latest version of the plugin.
When everything is finished and you can replicate the problem, please let us know.
Important! Do not import your site to the test site. We must replicate the problem on a fresh, clean WordPress installation.

Thanks,
Itamar.
