<b>Background of the issue: </b>
I am trying to translate the payment information on my website. I cannot find the translated strings for Mail poet, Paypal, Payoneer, and Iam port. I have unlocked the MailPoet Page and Iam Port payment on Post 'Types Translation.' Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
<b>Symptoms: </b>
The translations are not working as expected. Even after attempting to find the strings, they remain untranslated.
<b>Questions: </b>
Why are the payment information strings not translating?
How can I find and translate the missing strings for Mail poet, Paypal, Payoneer, and Iam port?
Thank you for the access, I checked and it seems that the MailPoet plugin is currently not in WPML's compatible plugin list.
It would be better if you could reach out to the author or support of the plugin and discuss this with them regarding this matter, you can also request them to join the Go Global Program of WPML where they can work with our compatibility team to make their product multilingual.
1) I suggest you check the solution from this other ticket and see if it helps.
2) Also in the link hidden link Mailpoet suggests you create different forms for different languages and use them in different translations.
You can translate the page containing the Mailpoet form manually with WPML as explained here then insert the different Mailpoet forms to the different language pages manually.
Could you please help me out with a video (you can use loom.com and share the link with me), showing which plugin is used for Payoneer/Paypal?
I noticed that you have multiple plugins related to cache installed on your website, and I suggest you keep only one plugin for a feature/service, having various plugins for the same feature/service can cause plugin conflicts.
You can check which plugins are recommended for WPML from this link.
From what I can see from the screenshots the options of the select element (as shown in the attached image). Each string must be wrapped within a __() function (as is the stringEContext(일본편의점결제)) as instructed in this documentation.
You could try implementing that yourself, but when any of those plugins update is released any code that you might implement will be overwritten. As suggested before, it would be best to reach the plugin's author about this issue.
* Note: Please ensure you have a full backup of your website before making any updates/changes to your website.
Regards,
Marsel
