Hello,
I have noticed that when I translate an article with ATE, the formatting of the article changes only at the places where there are redirect links.
I have also noticed while translating the recipe card, the quantity of ingredients is not displayed on ATE as you can see in this screenshot. When I publish, the quantities are present, but not on ATE, which is inconvenient for the translator.
Thanks
How are you creating the formating around the redirect links? Are you using a visual editor or is it done through HTML?
Regarding the quantities, are these added through a custom field within the post? If that is the case they most likely are set to "copy" which would cause them to copy over to the translation and exclude them from the translation editor.
Thank you for your response. I work with the classic editor, and everything goes smoothly when I publish from there. However, when I publish from ATE, that's where the issue arises.
As for the second case, it was a bug, but it's back to normal now.
I have another problem, if you can help me. I don't want to open a new ticket. I tried to find a solution on the forum, but I couldn't find anything.
Here's what happened: I gave a previously published article to someone to review and correct the translation. She worked on ATE. Once she's finished correcting the translation,
I re-read and I validated in
ticking and clicking ATE "accept this translation", but I didn't click 'publish'.
When I check the update of the published article, I see that the correction has not been taken into account.
I tried to watch it again on ATE, but there was no backup of the last fix.
I do not know what happened. I paid for this correction, and the person spent a few hours on it.
Can you tell me what was wrong? What should I do to retrieve this translation?
I'm currently trying to restore the site to see if that helps."
Hello Bobby, yes, my issue has not been resolved. I restored the site, but I lost the translation again that I redid last night.
I had opened another ticket to describe my issue, and Nicolas responded to make some adjustments, but unfortunately, I did not find a backup of the last work.
I will re-translate and see if it works this time. I would like to know, should I validate each translated sentence or just click on "finish" in ATE? Here is the article in question : hidden link
