Links that have been translated display differently in the translated version. They add an extra line above and beyond. If I correct this in the translated version it gets over written. In the ATP, there is no option to use different formatting. You can't complete a translation, the same as the English version.
Before proceeding further, I'll advise to fix/try the following:

- Update WordPress to the latest version.
- Update WPML plugins to the latest versions.
- Update all other plugins or theme to the latest versions, if needed.
Then:
- Clear all cached and recheck for the problem.
- Deactivate all plugins except WPML and its addons and check for the issue.
- Activate each plugin one-by-one, while keeping check on the issue after a plugin is activated. This way you'll be able to pinpoint a plugin having a conflict (or problem), if any.
- If the problem persists, repeat the above steps with a default theme of WordPress (i.e. 2021 or 2023).

I guess that list of to dos is a good way of for you to push the ball along the road a little bit. I've been through most of them but it's got nothing to do with the problem.
It's become clear that the issues arises with the combination of a hyperlink formatting marker and white text formatting marker. It doesn't happen if you use a black text formatting marker but I don't wanna use that!
The only way I've managed to work around it is to put the white formatting marker around a a few more characters of the text in order to stop the two markers being directly on top of each other and then the extra lines aren't added automatically. It's a bug in WPML which is very irritating. It seems like there's a lot of these little bugs in your system.
