I translated the website according to instructions, it is showing that all the pages are translated, but I do not see the translated version online. When I try to see the FR page it is still showing the Eng page. Meanwhile In translator the page has a translation completed status.

Hello,

This can happen if the original content was still saved as a draft when you created the translation jobs.

Pleaser revises your pages list, switch to the second language and confirm if your translated contents have the status "published".

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

Please name an example of this behavior on your site and provide me temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to take a better look at the issue. It would be better for a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “All In One WP Migration” on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you and take note, that creating such a package requires sufficient available space on your server.

IMPORTANT

Please make a backup of site files and database before providing us access.
If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

The steps are also shown in this video: hidden link

Best regards
Andreas

Hello,

The WP Memory Limit was on this site still set to the default value of 40M which is WordPress standard but the website was already using 38 MB of memory (RAM).

Anyhow, websites that use Elementor need at least 128M of memory limit and when using WPML and other plugins, actually 256M is recommended.

I have adjusted this setting now inside the wp-config.php file on your server.

After that I had to open the original content in Elementor, give it a small edit, save it again and then apply the translation.

Also, please make sure, to always mark all fields on the Advanced Translation Editor as completed (green labels).

Now, please proceed this way and try to apply the translation again.

In case some translation will still not work out, please take note of which widgets are causing you issues, as it could be that some of the custom Elementor widgets are still missing an appropriate XML configuration in order to be translatable with the WPML Translation Editor.

Proof for such missing configuration would be for example, if the strings of specific widgets do not show up inside the WPML Translation Editor.

In this case please inform the author(s) of the widgets (Elementor Addons) about such issues and forward this documentation:
https://wpml.org/documentation/support/language-configuration-files/how-to-register-page-builder-widgets-for-translation/

On the other hand, if you experience issues with any default Elementor Widgets that come with Elementor or Elementor PRO, then please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas
