This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client is unable to edit exhibition dates in the Arabic version of their website, despite being able to do so in the English version. The date fields are not visible or accessible in the Arabic version.
Solution:
We recommend checking the translation settings for the custom fields related to the exhibition dates. Here are the steps to follow:
1. Navigate to WPML → Settings in your WordPress dashboard.
2. Scroll to the Custom Fields Translation section.
3. Locate the fields 'exhibits_start_date' and 'exhibits_end_date'.
4. Set the translation preference for these fields to Translate.
5. Click Save to apply the changes.
After making these changes, please check if the date editing fields are now visible and editable in the Arabic version of the exhibition post.

If this solution does not resolve the issue or seems outdated, we highly recommend checking related known issues at https://wpml.org/known-issues/, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket for personalized assistance at WPML support forum.

I am experiencing an issue with editing exhibition dates on the Arabic version of our website.
In the English version, I can easily edit the exhibition dates by navigating to: Exhibitions → selecting an exhibition → clicking “Edit” → scrolling down to the date section and updating it.
However, this option does not appear in the Arabic version of the same exhibition. There is no visible field or section where I can edit the dates.
Both versions should ideally allow editing the same fields, but currently the Arabic translation does not reflect or allow access to these settings.
Could you please assist in enabling the date editing functionality for the Arabic version, or advise how this can be properly managed through WPML?
I have attached screenshots showing the editable date fields in the English version for your reference.
Thank you in advance for your support.

Hello,
Thank you for contacting us

Please follow this guide: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-fields/ and double-check if the exhibition dates custom fields are set to be translatable. If they are not, then set it as translatable and double-check if the issue has disappeared.

Looking forward to your message.
Regards,
Carlos

Hi,
Yes, we are here to help 🙂

1.- Please share a URL where the issue can be seen on the site.

2.- I kindly ask you to share the access credentials to the site in your next message, which I have set private. This will allow me to reproduce the issue in the URL shared on the previous point and double-check the WPML configuration.

Confirm you have created a full site backup that you can restore if necessary.

Thank you for sharing the information requested.

I have set the custom fields 'wpcf-start-date' and 'wpcf-end-date' to Copy in WPML -> Settings -> Custom Fields Translation. Now the issue is solved.

If you find the same problem at other exhibitions, just edit the exhibition in the original language and click Save.
