Tell us what you are trying to do?

This happened again.

After upgrading Astra, my site's top header & footer area turn into the Spanish version. hidden link

I don't know whether this is something in the Astra theme or WPML itself, could someone take a look for us ASAP plz??

[credentials removed]

The direct cause seems to be the original English strings turned into Spanish, for example:

We really need someone to take a closer look.

Thanks

Hi there,

Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.

I've removed the temporary login link from your post. Next time, please provide it if a supporter requests the credentials.

Checking the header HTML items in the customizer, I see the text is actually saved with the change (Spanish language). I think it is changed manually somehow.
If you have a backup of your site at the point before updating the Astra theme, please restore it and update the theme again to see if the issue persists.
If you don't have one, I recommend contacting your hosting support to request and restore your site to the point before updating the Astra theme.

You can also enable a minimal environment as below before updating the theme and see if it helps.
- Deactivate all non-WPML plugins
- Switch to the main theme Astra, current theme is a child theme.

There is also a known issue similar to this issue that you can try to apply on your site, please check it here https://wpml.org/errata/astra-theme-text-coming-from-wp_options-is-overwritten-with-translated-content/

Look forward to your reply.
Thanks
