Background of the issue:
I am trying to translate original text from English into 5 other languages using the Advanced Translation Editor in WPML. The 'Do nothing' XLIFF is selected.
Symptoms:
When manually translating large segments, markers in the English text box cannot be implemented in the translation, resulting in an error and the text not being saved.
Questions:
Do you have a list of how to implement markers (short code)?
Or how to remove/over-rull the markers?
The entries "wpml_linebreaks" represent newlines, and there should be the same number of newlines in the original and translated content.
You can click on the "Copy" icon, which will copy the text 1:1 from the original and set the marker. Then, you can add the translation again. Does this work for you? This issue will be resolved with one of the upcoming updates.

The issue was indeed a simple enter or shift enter
Apparently, there is an ENTER difference between WP text editor and Words

Sorry Marcel, but it seems not to be resolved!
Now I have the same issue with other translations.
Now it shows "Needs Review" when save, the text is not saved, while it shows blue instead of orange and 100%.
Why do we get those markers in some languages and not in the others?
We will be removing wpml_linebreak as a visible marker.
As a temporary workaround, please click the "Copy" icon within the segment to copy the content into the translation and then make any necessary adjustments. This issue will be resolved in one of the upcoming releases of our editor, which is already in QA for testing.
