Hi there,

I have tried reproducing this behavior unsuccessfully.

See my results here:
hidden link

I have added a custom class "bobby" to the row with the quote (using Gutenberg)

1. How are you adding the custom IDs that are getting translated?

2. When you manually go to the page and click on the translation to edit it do you see the CSS ID listed in the ATE editor?

-- While in the ATE editor at the top left there is a way to search -> search for the ID there, do you see it listed?

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue.
(preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible)

**Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken **

I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/
You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply.
The information you enter is private which means only you and I have access to it.

NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin.

Thank you,
Bobby

Hello,

Please go to WPML -> Settings -> Custom XML Configuration and add the following XML.

<wpml-config>
  <shortcodes>
    <shortcode>
      <tag>et_pb_section</tag>
    </shortcode>
  </shortcodes>
</wpml-config>

NOTE: On the staging site I have already added this and can verify it's working as expected. You can find it at the bottom of the XML.
