Let's try the following steps to check if this is a compatibility-related issue:
- create a full website backup
- disable all plugins except WPML and its add-ons
- check if the issue is happening again
- if it's not, reactivate your plugins one by one, checking every time if the issue shows up again so that you can understand which plugin is causing that issue
If the issue happens even with the non-WPML plugins disabled:
- leave all the non-WPML plugins deactivated
- switch to a default theme like TwentySeventeen
- try to recreate the issue now
If you have the chance, it would be best to do this in a staging (testing) environment.
Please let me know how that goes and if following any of these steps solved your issue or brought any change.
Hello, there are very big website so no one of this cant be done in easy way. But what I found that such error is happening when some translation was done.
And one more thing as example when i cant aces
wp-admin/admin.php?page=tm/menu/main.php&sm=dashboard
but I still can aces tabs inside as
wp-admin/admin.php?page=tm%2Fmenu%2Fmain.php&sm=ate-ams
or
/wp-admin/admin.php?page=tm/menu/main.php&sm=jobs
So I think that such error when I can't aces Translation Management is because some problem of inside wpml what is happening and it just crashes when need to aces bigger quantity of data.
If problem was with some other plugin so it must happen all the time, but as I wrote it happens usually when i did some translation work.
If this only happens from time to time, there is a chance that this is caused by some server limits being reached.
That way, when they are reached, some pages might return a blank page.
It would be impossible to debug this as long as we don't have some clear steps to reproduce it. And if the issue is taking place due to server limits being reached, even if I would have this website on a local testing environment, the issue won't happen because the resources on my local will never reach to full.
That is why I recommended a test on a staging/testing environment, where we can have only the WPML plugins active and see if this still happens.
I hope that you will find this information helpful.
If you can share a full copy of the site, I am more than happy to test this on a local environment but, again, the results might not help us in any way.
Please let me know how you would like us to proceed.
Mihai
