Background of the issue:
I have an issue with the language selector on my site hidden link. I have inserted it as a widget and want to display the flags only with a transparent background and a reduction in the width. I managed to achieve that, but there is an issue with the gap between the English and the Danish flag.

Symptoms:
When the English flag is active, the Danish flag jumps up and leaves no gap between the English and the Danish flag. In Firefox, the gap is far too large between the flags.

Questions:
Can you advise on the issue with the gap between the flags when the English flag is active?
Why is the gap between the flags too large in Firefox?

Hello,

Thanks for contacting us.

While you wait for my colleague to take over the ticket, let me try to help you with the issue quickly.

I see you are using custom CSS for this, note we can not help with a custom coding service, as this would require also adjusting code for different browsers/devices which is a bit out of scope of our support, for such you can hire a professional developer: https://wpml.org/contractors/

But I see you are using auto value for line-height, and height, it would be better to adjust this to actual values and then if needed adjust for larger / smaller screen sizes.

Hope this helps.

Regards,
Drazen
