Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

I tested in detail and unfortunately couldn't make it work, so I've finally escalated the issue to our 2nd tier team for further investigation. I've taken a backup of your staging site for the escalation. However, please keep the staging site in the current state as-it-is, for the team to investigate the issue.

Please note that I had to remove un-necessary themes and plugins from the staging site, to keep the package/backup size lower (for escalation).

I'll update you as soon as I've more information from the team.

Good morning,

The hosting service I use, which hosts the websites hidden link and hidden link, has reported the presence of malware on hidden link. If it is not resolved within 3 days, they will block access to the site.

Since you are the only ones currently working on it, could you please check it?
I will not be available for the next few days, so if I do not receive a response by tomorrow, I will be forced to delete the test site you are working on.
Thank you for your understanding.

Thank you for the updates.

However, can you please provide more details on the said malware? We installed a couple of plugins to check Elementor widgets plugin registration as well as some data access.

Is your hosting pointing to any of these? That could be a false-alarm but it'd be great if you can provide more information.

Please note that although we've the site package but the "Unlimited Elements for Elementor (Premium)" plugin is tied to your staging site, means without this active license we may not be able to investigate the issue.

I've also asked my team about any possible alternate, please let me know the details on the above mentioned.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.

Our team has analyzed the issue in detail. It looks like they already are aware of this issue and 'll be improved in the upcoming version of WPML (4.8).

However, there's no ETA so far about it, so we'll have to wait for it.

In the meanwhile you can try editing the translations in the WP Editor to fix those links manually. The steps 'll be like these:

- Once a translation has been completed in the WPML Translation Editor or ATE.
- Open the page for editing in default language.
- Switch to other language from top admin bar.
- Click "edit anyway" to continue editing the translation.
- Click "Edit with Elementor" to open the translation in Elementor.
- Correct the link manually to point to the translated version of the intended content.
- Save/Publish.
- Exit the Elementor and return to WordPress.

Or until this is fixed, you can translate such pages or content entirely using WordPress editor (instead of WPML Editor). Because the above mentioned steps have a little caveat, like after doing that, if you update translation in ATE, your manual changes 'll be lost.

See https://wpml.org/documentation/translating-your-contents/using-different-translation-editors-for-different-pages/ for more details.

P.S.: This ticket 'll remain open and escalated, so once the issue is resolved and new version is rolled out, we can inform you accordingly.

It wasn't specified what was causing the malware alert, but I noticed that there is a plugin in the staging environment that allows you to manage files.
That was probably what was causing the malware alert. I reported it and the problem was resolved.
There should be no problem proceeding.

Thank you for the updates about the malware stuff.

Did you receive my previous message? I sent after the malware related reply. Just want to be sure that if you're aware of the situation?

I just wanted to update you that you can remove or use your staging site. This is not needed anymore, since we've the package and our team 'll use that accordingly.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
