I am trying to translate the website into Spanish, but even after saving the changes, they disappear after closing the translation page. Besides, the WPML String Translation update can't be downloaded/found in WordPress.

It happens all through the site.

I expected to keep all of my website's translations.

Instead, I found some of them erased/missed.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support. I will try my best to assist you in this matter.

To translate a site built with Elementor, it's essential to have the String Translation plugin activated on the site, as mentioned here: https://wpml.org/documentation/plugins-compatibility/elementor/#getting-started.

Since the plugin is not currently activated, translations aren't being processed correctly. If you encounter problems while updating the String Translation plugin, you can download it from your WPML.ORG(https://wpml.org/account/downloads/). Once downloaded, proceed to install and activate this plugin on your website.

After activating the plugin, please retranslate the page and save the changes. Prior to checking the frontend, please make sure to clear the caches from the site and browser as well.

I hope it will help. if you need any further assistance, feel free to let me know. I will be happy to help.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit
