Hello,

Please try to locate this string at WPML > String Translation > Translate texts in admin screens.

If you can find it, mark the string and add it to WPML > String Translation.

Then test the translation.

If this will not solve the issue, please let me know.

Best regards
Andreas

Thank you, I managed to locate and add that string.

However, I can't find this string: I have read and agree to the website Terms and conditions (please see image)

Is there any way to translate a shortcode [privacy-policy] and [terms]?

This strings seems to use a placeholder for the page and its URL.

Did you try to search only for "I have read"?

I am not sure which plugin you use for the Cookie Banner, but could you please try to go to the Cookie Banner edit screen in wp-admin.

Now, change the language inside the top admin bar and try to create a translation for the option field.

Then, switch back to the default admin language and verify if the original string remained saved. If it works this way then this might be the solution for the issue.

If this does not work out this way, I would like to to offer to take a closer look.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to the site to investigate the issue further.

The required fields are below the comment section when you log in to leave the next reply. The information you provide is private, meaning only you and I can see and access it.

IMPORTANT
Please be sure to back up the site and database before granting us access.

If you can't see the "wp-admin / FTP" fields, your post and site login details will be set to "PUBLIC". DO NOT publish the data unless you see the required wp-admin / FTP fields.

I may need to install a plugin called "All In One WP Migration" here to create a copy of the site that I can use to investigate the issue further.

However, I would also be very grateful if you could provide a staging site or copy of the website from your server for this purpose.

If you have any questions about creating such a staging site, you can consult your hosting provider. Please note that WPML must also be registered on this staging site at https://wpml.org/de/account/websites/.

If you are not able to provide such a copy of the website for testing, please let me know on this ticket.
