This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
You want to change the country code shown in the permalink for Malay from /ms/ to /my/.
Solution:
We use language codes, not country codes, which is why it shows as /ms/. Unfortunately, you cannot directly change language codes. However, we recommend you try creating a custom language and assign the language code "my" to it. You can find detailed instructions on how to do this here.

Background of the issue:
I want to change the country code shown in the permalink for Malay. Currently, it shows /ms/, but I want it to show /my/.

Symptoms:
The permalink for Malay is showing /ms/ instead of the desired /my/.

Questions:
Is it possible to change the country code in the permalink from /ms/ to /my/?

WPML doesn't use country codes, but language codes, that's why you get "ms" and not "my".

You can't change language codes. The only option you have is to create a custom language and assign the language code "my" to it.
