Problem: The client reported that the Main Menu disappeared from the WordPress admin area but was still visible on the frontend. After using WP Menu Sync, the Main Menu reappeared in the admin area, but two Main Menus appeared on the frontend in the secondary languages. Solution: We identified this as a known issue related to WP Menu Sync and the translation of custom menu items. You can read more about this issue here. We recommend editing the menus directly in the affected languages (French, Catalan, and Portuguese) to correct the duplication. Before making any changes, please ensure to back up your entire site (both files and database).

Problem: You want to display different YouTube videos on the German and English versions of your website using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF). You are unsure how to implement this. Solution: We recommend that you first ensure your website is fully backed up. Then, follow these steps: 1. Go to your ACF Field Group and set its translation mode to 'Expert'. 2. Change the field that contains the YouTube embed to 'translate'. 3. Make a minor modification to the post containing the embed, such as adding a blank space to a text, and save your changes. 4. Check the translation for the YouTube video URL.

However, with WooCommerce Multilingual enabled, all emails were sent in English only. Disabling WooCommerce Multilingual resulted in emails being sent in the correct language. Solution: This came down to a bug.
We released WPML String Translation 3.2.16, which is expected to address this issue. Please ensure that you have the latest versions of all relevant plugins and themes.

Problem: You are using the WPML plugin on your site and have encountered an issue where the search results display correctly in English (in 3 columns), but in Greek, they display only in one column. Solution: This issue appears to be a compatibility problem with your theme. The grid design that works in English does not initialize on the translated Greek page. We recommend contacting the theme's support team or developers to inquire if the theme is compatible with WPML. If it is not, suggest that they join our Go Global program, where our Compatibility developers will assist in making their product fully compatible with WPML at no cost.
