This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client was experiencing slow loading times and issues while editing posts on their WordPress site using WPML.
Solution:
We recommend deactivating the 'Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality' option located in WPML -> Languages -> Make themes work multilingual. This change was tested on a staging site and resulted in significantly improved loading times and no issues when saving changes, even with multiple plugins active. Before trying this, ensure you have a recent backup of your site to prevent any data loss.

If this solution does not resolve your issue or seems outdated, please check the related known issues, verify the version of the permanent fix, and confirm that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If problems persist, we highly recommend opening a new support ticket for personalized assistance. Visit our support forum for further help.

Hi,

You asked: "Did you check the screenshoot I sent you?"

Based on what I can see on the staging site, the query load time for our plugins is negligible. But I'll check further and consult our second-tier supporters.

I appreciate your patience.

Regards,
Itamar.

Hi,

I followed the advice of our second-tier supporter and deactivated the 'Adjust IDs for multilingual functionality' option in WPML -> Languages -> Make themes work multilingual on your staging site. This has dramatically improved the loading time of admin pages, even when the Salient Child Theme, RegistrationMagic plugin, Satispay for WooCommerce plugin, and the Download Monitor plugin are active. I also edited some pages and made changes, and had no problem saving those changes.
Could you please try the same on your site and tell me if it helps?
Please note that there is no risk of translations disappearing. I mention this as you raised this concern during your chat with our AI Agent. However, it is always a good practice to ensure you have a recent backup before trying this.

Regards,
Itamar.
