This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
The client has two pages that appear as 'not translated or need update' even though they seem to be translated. When attempting to translate them, the Translation Job gets stuck, and after cancellation, the pages revert to 'not translated or need update'.

Solution:
We recommend the following steps to resolve the issue:
1. Take a backup of your site and database first.
2. Navigate to the Pages (listing) in the default language.
3. Switch to the other language using the top admin bar.
4. Delete the translation of the page.
5. Remove it from the Trash as well.
6. Repeat these steps for translations of this page in other languages.
7. Switch back to the default language.
8. Translate the page again without making any changes. The translation memory should assist since the content will be the same. Ensure to complete the translation 100%.

If this solution does not apply to your situation, or if it is outdated, we highly recommend checking the related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. If the problem persists, please open a new support ticket with us.

Hi,
2 Pages, which seem to be translated, are always shown in “not translated or need update”.
When we try to translate them, Translation Job gets stuck and I have to cancel it. After this the 2 pages appear again as “not translated or need update”.
Kind regards
Johannes

Hello Johannes,

Thank you for contacting the support.

By looking at the screenshot, it looks like those are pending review (the eye icon). This means you need to approve those translations to reflect the changes on the frontend.

Please see https://wpml.org/documentation/automatic-translation/how-to-review-automatic-translations-on-your-site/ for details.

Also here are the details on those icons (a.k.a. translation statuses): https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/#translation-icons

Please let me know if I understood correctly or if you can share more details?

Regards.

Hi,
thanks for your answer.
All the other pages also have the "eye"-Status, but work fine.
In the Settings we have activated the Option: "Publish immediately, but mark as unverified so I can look at it later" (Please see Screenshot attached)
Any other possibility?
Kind regards
Johannes

Thank you for the updates.

I understand what you meant, there may be some DB corruption about those 2 pages. This can happen due to any reason.

Can you please try the following steps?

Take a backup of site and database first.

- Go to the Pages (listing) in default language.
- Switch to the other language from top admin bar.
- Delete the translation of the page.
- Remove it from Trash also.
- Repeat the steps for translations of this page in other languages.
- Switch back to the default language.
- Translate again without making any change. Since the content 'll be same, translation memory should help about it. Make sure to complete 100%.

Please let me know if this helps fixing those 2 pages.
