This is a forum? Not a private support and for 1 day 12 hours you didn't see my messages on a forum with about 20 staff working for the customer support? It is worse than I thought. You did not apologized, it was my fault to make many replies. NOW you realized that YES, there are problems on your information and it was not written. You write that you understand the entire problem. Let me tell you the problem: I lost about 150,000$ US last year. I start back a company from scratch. So far 1-2 months, I am doing incredible work on SEO for NOTHING. And when I realize that I need subdomains, I have NOT all the information and people telling me to HIRE A FREELANCER and not even a clear CHAT SUPPORT. Do you know how long it takes me to contact my server support, SITEGROUND? About 5 minutes. You, well nothing is your fault and I am trying for 2-3 days, support answer after 1 day and a half but I was not instructed that SEO wouldn't be friendly on ONE website without subdomains. So I spend money translatiing, losing my time, check and recheck on google the problem UNTIL I understood that the sitemap only points to English and the other languages are not caught by google. GREAT JOB. Misinformation from the time I bought it. Adding money for translation when it does not add to google, and when I try to correct things, the information is not written properly about subdomains, to park them, to wait hours and hours... which is what I am doing now. I don't even know if it will work. It's shareful. But you can't take the blame. It is not the misinformation of your sales. It is not the misinformation of your page about subdomains, it is not your fault IF ON A PUBLIC FORUM YOU DID NOT ANSWER PROPERLY FOR 1.5 days. It is my fault. |

BTW, you are the "support manager"? Please send me to my private email "info@ThaiLawOnline.com" the name and email of your boss. I will tell him or her what I think and where there are some problems here in your support. I have NO problem to explain a reasonable person that I am angry, deceived, and thought you did a really, really bad job. I will explain your boss how to make better, for your company and future clients. Not very difficult. |

Sir, If you continue down this path we will have to close this forum, so please let's focus on the problem or this issue will never be resolved. I apologize for every single issue you say i or any of my colleagues did but please let's focus on the problem so we can solve it. duly noted, our documentation team will be sent your thougths and opinion on what to improve. -------------- About all the issue about the sitemap and all the things that is "stated nowhere". 1) robots.txt has nothing to do with languages. if you want to have things sorted by languages, then i'm not sure why you'd even want to use robots.txt (i bet you have your reasons but in general it's not needed). 2) WPML doesn't handle SEO directly, WPML SEO + an SEO plugin does and you have yoast SEO which seems to be working great here. I checked your sitemap for pages, for example: hidden link and it does show the links for all the languages. you don't need to have sitemaps separated by languages, because they are all in the same place and it's the metadata inside each page which will tell search engines what to do. 3) I checked that metadata and it's ok too, it's correct and working normally on each page of your site. 4) I even checked google to see if the site in french was indexed and it is: hidden link You can test with other languages as well by opening that page and changing the language directory. 4) You do have a possible SEO problem which can create problems with the search engine: your Site is not fully using HTTPS, so eventually some pages will probably be deindexed or penalized by the search engines because of this. this has nothing to do with WPML, though. A fix for this is quite simple, thankfully. Install a plugin like: https://wordpress.org/plugins/really-simple-ssl/ and it will take care of most if not all the issues, as long as you have a valid SSL certificate (which i believe you have but the siteground support can certify if it was installed correctly and it's working ok). If this is the only reason why you think that you need subdomains, then no, you don't need them really. nothing will change if you use subdomains on this regard and to be honest i think it will only complicate things even more because you have to setup the search console in google, bing and other search options with each subdomain. send sitemaps with each subdomain so in the end it's more work for you. If you want to continue down the subdomain path, then you're welcome to do so but if the issue is SEO, then you don't need to do it only for it. we have sites like microsoft, facebook, mercedes benz and other big brands that are using your same configuration without any issue on that front. Regards. |

That's a better answer. I do not know if this plugin will work. But people should know. I will try. I was about to write to Amit Kvint and you have no idea what I can do. I have more endorsements on Linkedin that your founder Dries and a company with headquarters in HK is not a problem for me. Never underestimate who you talk to. You do not know me. There are major problems in your documentation, information about subdomains, or even that plugin I just heard about. I lost tons of time and money before of that. TONS. I believe Mercedes-Benz website is built on a content management system (CMS) called Umbraco. And Microsoft website is built on a content management system (CMS) called Sitecore. While Facebook is LAMP stack. Do not mix wordpress with companies having computer engineers and making their own personal modifications. I installed the sitemap 2-3 days ago with Yoast. I was 2 months without anything. You are wrong about the place of the sitemap. It is here: hidden link I did have a computer in 1981. using BBS, IRC in 1982. www in 1992 with an email. Nobody was doing that. website before 2000 and a blog in 2003. I was the first lawyer in Thailand on Youtube in 2010-2011. I am doing AI for a year playing with different forms like hidden link which is a pinescript5 code on tradingview and trading like a tesla drive. I HAD PROBLEMS with your documents and information. You have a big job to do. Let's wait for results because now, it is a mess. |
