I’m in the final stretch of translating the site in to French however there are a couple of items that I’m struggling to get across the line.

I’m using Pixel Filterable Gallery by Divi Pixel which is filtered down using Divi Pixel Categories on the Driver Stories page. It works perfectly on the original page however the grid of images aren’t showing up on the translated page;

Do you know why that might be and how I can rectify it?

Also, on the news page I’m using a combination of DG Blog Module by Divi Gear and Pixel Filterable Grid by Divi Pixel and the Read More button hasn’t translated in either instance, or on the carousel at the bottom of the Home page. Do you know how I can change that?

I also can’t work out how to translate the wording in the filter of the News page (the section in the black band): hidden link

Thank you for sharing the access details.

During troubleshooting, I noticed that the taxonomy 'dipi_media_category', which the Pixel Filterable Grid Gallery uses for the media items is set to 'Not translatable'.
( at WP Admin -> WPML -> Settings -> Taxonomies Translation - screenshot: hidden link )

Please set this taxonomy to 'Translatable' and then translate its terms from WP Admin -> WPML -> Taxonomy translation.

Once these terms have been translated, the gallery should start showing for the translations too,

Hi Waqar,

Thank you very much for you reply. I have done that and have changed the filter names which as it happens is only the one needed (Organiser) as the others are race series names so they will stay the same in both languages. Unfortunately the images still aren't showing though. Also the word 'All' in the filter still needs to be changed and I can't work out where I need to do that. I've noticed that the word 'All' also needs to change on the filter on the News page too; hidden link

Can you advise further please?

To troubleshoot this further, I'll need to perform some tests on the gallery added by the plugin.

Do I have your permission to download a clone/snapshot of the website and investigate this on a different server?

Hi,

I hope you had a good weekend.

Sorry to bother you again but there's also another couple of words that I'm struggling to change so I wondered if you can also advise on these please. I'm hoping that it's more of a simple fix!

It's the 'Read More' text on the news carousel and grids, and the 'All' text on the Driver Story and News filter. I've tried in the strings but I can't seem to find the right area.

I'll be running some tests and will share the findings around the gallery and the read more text, as soon as this testing completes.

For the images not showing in the gallery, here is how I was able to fix it on your website's clone:

1. Please go WP Admin -> WPML -> Support and you'll find a link to the 'troubleshooting' page.

2. On this screen under the 'Clean up' section, select 'Media' post type and use the 'Synchronize posts taxonomies' button next to it.

This will assign the translated taxonomy terms to the relevant media/images and once this process is completed, the gallery items will start showing for the translated page too.

Note: Because there are a lot of images uploaded on the website, this process will take some time, so let it complete.

For the other text items not getting translated, I'm still investing those strings and will keep you updated with the findings.
