Tell us what you are trying to do?
A website we have created needs to be translated in 2 other languages. A long time ago a former employee has installed Polylang on it but almost no translation were added.
Now we have to start adding translations, we decided to work with WPML (what we normally always do).
I have uninstalled Polylang and installed WPML. Set up everything but now when I would like to start translating, the content blocks from Gutenberg are not showing. With the classic editor it does work.
The yoast blocks are showing well.

Because this is a live website, I've duplicated the website to a test-environment.
The temporary URL is hidden link

I can give you admin access.

Kind regards
Geert

Hi Geert,

Thanks for contacting WPML forums support. I'll be glad to help you today.

Please let me know which page is the problematic page.

Also, I would need to look closely at your site, so I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP)
– preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible –
in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

Your next answer will be private, which means only you and I can access it.

❌ Please backup your database and website ❌

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate the Plugins and the Theme and change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

✙ I also need your permission to take a local copy of your site to debug the issue without affecting your live site.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi Geert,

Thanks for the access details. You use ACF blocks and don't have ACF Multilingual installed, so please install it and check the following guides.

1) https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

2) https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/recommended-custom-fields-translation-preferences-for-acf-and-wpml/

After setting the translation preferences for the custom fields, please update the page in the default language and translate it to check if the strings will appear in the translation editor.

Best regards,
Osama

Hi Osama,

I think it's solved.(didn't test it very well yet)

I installed the plugin.
That didn't solved the issue immediately.
I deactivated 'loco translate' plugin.
From that moment I get to see all my fields in the Advanced translation editor.

Thanks
