Hi there, The original URL was hidden link , what is the new URL ? The reason this message is showing is because WPML associates your WPML Automatic Translation account as well as the Site Key Registration with your URL. Related Documentation: |

As I mentioned before, I didn't change the site URL, I only edited the custom part of a page URL. I changed it from hidden link to hidden link. After making the change, both pages cannot be opened. |

I am not seeing any issues from our side. Please go through the notification and mark it as "this is a copy" in order to remove the wartning and let me know your results. Also, go to WPML->Translation Management->Automatic Translation/Translation Tools area and let me know if you are seeing your information and credits shown OK there. You should have around 263,358 credits available. Regarding the URL that is not opening, there is a redirect that takes it back to the JA version which no longer exists resulting to 404. Is this a taxonomy page by any chance? What are your results if you revert the URL back to the JA version? |

Thank you for your patient answers. Regarding the assumptions you raised, here is the situation on my end: Please go through the notification and mark it as "this is a copy" in order to remove the wartning and let me know your results. >>Where do I perform this step? ------ Also, go to WPML->Translation Management->Automatic Translation/Translation Tools area and let me know if you are seeing your information and credits shown OK there. >>There are 263,358 credits remaining. ------ Regarding the URL that is not opening, there is a redirect that takes it back to the JA version which no longer exists resulting to 404. >>How can I cancel the redirect? I would like to use the modified URL. ------ Is this a taxonomy page by any chance? >>This is not a taxonomy page, this is a regular page. ------ What are your results if you revert the URL back to the JA version? >>I forgot the original Japanese URL. Using this page, reverting to Japanese is accessible: hidden link. However, I still hope to uniformly use English URLs and be able to modify them. |

Thank you for updating me! I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to test the issue. **Before we proceed It is necessary to take FULL BACKUP of your database and your website. Providing us with access, you agree that a backup has been taken ** I often use the Duplicator plugin for this purpose: http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/ NOTE: If access to the live site is not possible and the staging site does not exist please provide me with a duplicator package created with the duplicator plugin. Thank you, |

Hello, I have already had the technical staff create a backup. Regarding temporary access (wp-admin and FTP), may I ask how I should authorize you to log in? I think you can directly log into my current website, as this is already a test website. |

Thank you for the access details! The URL you are sharing does not exist which is why it's redirecting. The Japanese URL for that page is as follows: |

Hello, I just changed this page URL to hidden link. It redirects to hidden link, and if I open it in browser private/incognito mode, it shows a 404 error. |

I have reverted the page to hidden link as it does not work with /globalization Do we have your permission to disable the Custom Permalinks plugin? I believe there is some sort of issue caused by this plugin when we change the URL slug. |

Yes, you can disable it first and take a look, thank you |

Thank you. The Globalization page -> is this a portfolio category page, and the custom permalink plugin is used to remove the /portfolio-category from the permalink? With the plugin disabled the actual URL is hidden link If that is correct, the reason the translation to Japanese /ja/ is not working is because portfolio categories are set to "Not Translatable" in WPML->Settings->Taxonomies Translation -> Categories (Portfolio_cat) |

Hello, I tested it again and tried using a different word, and I found that it works: hidden link. However, I’m not sure why the slug can't be the same as the original page. It's not a big issue, I can slightly modify the slug. |
