thanks for your patience.

I've uploaded the theme and the required plugins that you shared. You can check the files here hidden link using the file manager.

Could you create a test page and replicate the issue that you encountered on your website?

Hi,
I did a test with the block I used to face issues with... It didn't occur on your platform 🙁
I need to test with more blocks

Thanks for your reply.

There could be other 3rd Party plugins conflicting with WPML on your dev site. Maybe you can try deactivating 3rd Party Plugins on your Website to see if it helps.

Also, feel free to test more blocks on our sandbox site until you can replicate the issue.

I'm still able to translate the full page now.

However, I keep encountering many surprizing behaviors.

For example, if the content is now translated, the images aren't... until, after a few hours, they suddenly are (being replaced by their alternatives loaded through wpml media)!
Now I want to update the original content through the ATE, which is back to v2 -while I've been told to use to the previous one, to fix issues- and am stuck at 98% (the kind of issues I used to face with ATE v2).
So I move, again, to the previous version, get 100% again, save the page... And now the image, again are not translated! Im back to the original ones.

What's going on here?

Right after that comment, I went to edit the translation page individually.

Here I noticed a block was still broken (for which I could click attempt recovery).

This was the reason why I wanted to update the translation in the previous message.
I suspect it's broken because the block had a minor change. I expected once I had would have updated the translation, the block would be back on track in the translation. Unfortunately, editing individually showed it wasn't the case.

Then, if I recover the block, and click "update" from the individually translated page (thus it's now not synced anymore), then my images are now translated again.

So to sum it up, to keep my content as much organized as possible:
- I should edit the content from the ATE
- The standard v2 has issues, so I should switch to V1, and untick I prefer bigger segments, manually. While these settings won't stick.
- I should translate my images from WPML Media

But to get my translated images availablle in the translated page, I need to edit the page individually, and thus have them unsynced.

How does this makes sense?

Hi,
Here is a screencast of what's happening.
hidden link

As you can see, when my post is up to date in the ATE, I don't get the translated image in the translation.
Then, as soon as I save the translation individually, the image is translated (== I get the image's translation, as set through WPML Media Translation).

By the way, some other issues:
- For some reason, the URL and the link's translation keep disappearing as soon as I save the translation individually.
I can set them to get to 100%, save it, reload the ATE >> They're gone again.

Now a second screen cast, made a couple of minutes after. I did'n make any significative changes.

As you can see now:
- I now get ATE v1. I didn't change anything ?!
- You can see how, over and over, images loose their translation in the french version after updating the content through the ATE
- We can also see that, in v1, the url and variable don't disappear.

Why is this process so unstable?

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, you should try switching to ATE V1, and untick I prefer bigger segments and retranslate the contents. Then, images should be translated from WPML Media

Also, have you tried deactivating 3rd party plugins as mentioned earlier? I suspect some cache plugin or a 3rd party plugin is causing some issues over there.

I just finished your second video and it looks like you're still having issues with ATE V1. Are you able to replicate the issue on the sandbox site that I prepared for you?

I already faced these issues while disabling third party plugins.
There's no cache plugin running right now.
I already switched to ATE v1, and unticked I prefer bigger segments.
But for some reason, without any further intervention on these settings from myself, it seems to switch the version back and forth. As you can see from the second screencast.

Where is this setting saved? dabase, file, browser? How can these settings swing while I don't touch them?
