We are reaching out regarding an issue with translation credits following a recent site migration.
We migrated a WordPress site from a temporary domain (powerjackssite.mtcserver.com) to the live domain (hidden link). The automatic translation credits were originally assigned to the temporary domain. The temporary domain is not available.
On the live website, WPML is prompting us to share credits from the old site. However, the temporary staging site no longer exists and we no longer have access to it.
We would like to ensure that the translation credits are preserved and correctly assigned to the live domain.
At this point, the situation has changed: I have untied the key from my plugin. This was your assistant's advice. However, I have not removed the key from the WPML admin panel.
In this case, it's best to re-register the website. Please follow these steps:
1. Go to wpml.org/account/sites and remove the website from the list (both powerjackssite.mtcserver.com and hidden link);
2. Add the live website again and copy the newly generated key;
3. In your website's admin panel, go to Plugins > Add New > Commercial Tab and click on "Unregister WPML from this site";
4. Register the website again, with the key you copied in step #2;
When you remove a website from the registered website list, the credits go back to the account, and can be assigned again. I checked, and you have 34578 credits assigned to it. That should do the trick. Let me know how it goes.

I have followed all the steps you mentioned earlier. The site is now registered with a new key, but I still see this message in the dashboard.
Also, I cannot see the previously registered domain hidden link in the WPML account panel anymore. At the moment, I only see the live domain listed there.
Could you please check if the credits are still linked to the old domain and advise how they can be transferred or restored?
Actually, I couldn't find the production website (hidden link) in our systems. Please note that no credits will be lost, I'll make sure that everything goes smoothly.
Can you please send me its sitekey, and website access?
For this I would need temporary access (WP-Admin only) to your site.
The required fields can be found below the comments section. The information you enter is private, i.e. only you and I can see it and have access to it.
I may need to replicate your website locally. To do this, I need to temporarily install a plugin called "Duplicator" or "All in One WP Migration" on your website. This will allow me to create a copy of your website and content. Once the issue is resolved, I will delete the local website. Let me know if this works for you.
IMPORTANT
Please make a backup copy of the site files and database before giving us access.
- If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields, this means your post and site login details are being made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details if you do not see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:
While preparing my reply to your previous message, I decided to check the migration options and review the available choices.
After selecting “No”, I received a message stating that the registration of the temporary domain (hidden link) had been cancelled and that all credits and translations are safe. It looks like the issue has now been resolved.
The dashboard is now unlocked, and I have re-registered the plugin using the key for the domain hidden link in the plugin registration field.
Could you please also confirm that all credits from the domain hidden link have been successfully returned to the WPML account?
