Hi wpml,

What does it mean ? means if I uninstall the WPML by something I lose everything ?

Please note that resetting or uninstalling the WPML plugin will erase your translation memory, glossary, and automatic translation account. Previous invoices and word usage reports will no longer be accessible. At this time, there is not a way to recover any of these settings.

Hi Joaquín.

No, it means that your automatic translation account will get disconnected and you won't have access to the translation memory and the other data from the automatic translation account you had set up.

It is always a good thing to create a full website backup before doing anything that might bring changes to the site.

Kind regards,

Hi Joaquín.

Automatic translation won't be available until you don't:

1. Make sure Advanced Translation Editor is active in WPML > Settings
2. Make sure that in WPML > Translation Management > Translation Tools, you have enabled "pay as you go".

But I understand I maintain all my content even if I disconnect the WPML pluggins.

If you deactivate WPML completely, the content will still be on the site but it will show like you have duplicated pages in the backend as there won't be any way WordPress will know which page is the translation of which page, that's why there's the WPML plugin, to help you create translations and help WordPress understand which is the translation of a specific page.
