Thank you for contacting WPML support.

Could you please clarify how you added the background image to the header? Did you use the theme options settings or a particular plugin?

I added through the post's feature! Screenshot attached! I'm not sure if it was via them as i'm currently new to wordpress. I think it's default.

I need to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site – preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible – in order to be of better help. You will find the needed fields for this below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Thank you for sharing the access credentials. I could log in but couldn't view the translated page on your staging site. Instead, it redirected me to the product site.

However, I think I found the issue. Adding a background image to your current theme settings isn't a standard WordPress option. You must tell WPML what to do with the background image to make it appear in the translation. Here are the steps:

1. Go to WPML → Settings → Custom Fields Translation
2. Click on "Show system fields."
3. Search for "header_title_background"
4. Set it to "copy" and save it
5. Update the page translation by slightly modifying the original page, saving it, navigating to the WPML editor, and completing the translation.

I hope this helps.
