Do you know of any plugin that adds a filter to the sidebar on the store page that works properly with WMPL and Woocommerce?
I installed hidden link.
But it doesn't work very well.
All my products have prices set manually. For example, the highest price of a Polish product is PLN 115. The price of the English version of this product is $125.
When I turn on the Polish version of the page, the filter shows the Polish currency correctly and the highest value of 115 in the price slider. It is OK.
But when I switch to the English version of the site, the currency symbol will change to $ correctly, but in the price slider, the maximum value is 115, not 125.
What’s more, being in the English version of the site, when I clear the filters, everything returns to the Polish currency.
It seems that after switching the page to English, the filter still tries to filter by products in the Polish version and not the English version. So I still don't know how to solve the problem.
I think this problem applies to any plugin that adds a product filter. Perhaps the solution is to create two filters. One would take into account only Polish-language products and the other would only consider English-language products. Depending on your choice of language, one or the other would work. But I have no idea how to do it. I will be very grateful for any help... 🙂
Thank you for contacting WPML support, I'd be happy to help you with this issue.
The plugin WooCommerce Product Filter (by WooBeWoo) is not available in our list of compatible plugin, which you can check here https://wpml.org/plugin/.
So in order to report the compatibility issues we need to replicate the issue on a clean installation. I created a clean installation of WordPress, WPML, and all necessary WPML add-ons. You can access the WordPress dashboard using the link below: hidden link
Kindly follow the steps below:
- Install WooCommerce Product Filter plugin.
- Try to replicate the issue.
- Then let me know the steps to replicate it.
This will help us to report the issue to the compatibility team and solve the possible issue faster.
Hi!
This issue is still not resolved, but this ticket can be closed.
The thing is, I described the same problem much better in another submission. A tier 2 team is currently working on it. According to Subash Chandra Poudel, a copy of my website has been made and the Level 2 team is still investigating the issue.
The second (still open) ticket is titled: "[Escalated to 2nd Tier] WPML and WooCommerce plugins to achieve the following goal".
Thank you and best regards,
Grzegorz Kozłowski
Feel free to create new tickets if you have more questions. Thanks.
