However, the code supplied there as a workaround, is already in my codebase in the BeTheme 'class-mfn-builder-front.php' file, so I am at a loss for what to do.
If BeBuilder is not compatible with WPML, the documentation on BeTheme needs to be changed, I know thats not on your team, but its very misleading since everywhere in their theme they claim full compatibility with WPML. Its the only reason I chose this plugin, I have used Polylang in the past without any issues, and I really do not want to have to re do all of my translation work due to this.
If I use the overwrite feature when making the translation, then once its done making the post, switch it over to independently translate, it works. Its an odd workaround and it should be fixed that if you choose copy, it actually copies the contents of BeBuilder.
Hey Osama, I appreciate your help, however thats not really going to be possible. You need to pay for licenses for the BeTheme, and I am not going to go through the effort of setting up demo sandbox and pay for a theme, again, just for help debugging something I can just show you not working in a real environment.
I understand your process is to eliminate variables to determine if this is a problem with WPML or some other plugins issue. To be honest, we follow the same process.
What I can tell you is that if you use the workaround, it "Works", its mainly around how you initially create a translation with anything from BeTheme and BeBuilder, if you just try to create it by copying it from an existing version of a page, it fails to copy the contents of the BeBuilder, if you use the Duplicate option, then switch it to translate independently, it works fine.
So something is going wrong with the copy version of the WPML code and it not picking up the content for from the original page.
Like I said, I can set up a screen share, and walk anyone on the WPML side through it.
Thanks for your update. Would it be possible to provide a copy of your site to debug the issue?
If possible, we usually recommend the free Plugin “Duplicator” for this porpoise.
If you already know how Duplicator works. (http://wordpress.org/plugins/duplicator/),
please skip the following steps and send me the installer file and the zipped package you downloaded.
★ Duplicator Instructions (hidden link)
Send me both files (you probably want to use DropBox, Google Drive, or similar services, as the snapshot file will be quite big)
I will enable your next answer as private, so you can securely provide me with the information.
Best regards,
Osama
