From Theme and plugins localization, I scan the message from selected child theme, click the number queried and direct to Sting translation, I select the string and change the translation priority of selected strings to required and then click the Translation button.

I am the translator too, I click edit translate the update the translation, the stutus show complete, I try to approve translation reviews but it prompts "This action does not apply to any of the selected translation jobs" I don't why, at last I can't translate my message

I don't know which steps I missed, please help.

Hey there,

Thanks for your contact and welcome to the WPML support forum!

Let's try a possible solution for this issue. Please follow these steps:

- Just to be safe, make sure to have a website backup before proceeding
- Go to “WPML > Support“ in your admin dashboard “your-website/wp-admin.php”
- Click the “troubleshooting” link bellow the plugin versions list.
- Look for the “Clean up” section and hit these buttons:

# Clear the cache in WPML
# Remove ghost entries from the translation tables
# Fix element_type collation
# Synchronize local job ids with ATE jobs
# Synchronize translators and translation managers with ATE
# Set language information
# Fix post type assignment for translations

Then, go back to the WPML -> String Translation module and try to resend to translation the mentioned strings (or you can also translate them manually in the ST module itself).

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes. Thanks!

Regards,
Mateus.

Dear Mateus Getulio,

I follow the steps you mentioned, may I reconfirm my steps are correct?

1. Select the messages I want to translate and set them as Required.
2. Select again and click Translate button
3. Go to Translation page, click Strings translation-en-3c9c94bd6d89f4 and click Edit and translate again ( I don't know why it show status as Completed )
4. I didn't do any translate, it show 100% complete, I directly save and close it
5. I visit the page (this is the login page from woocommerce) but no luck.
6. I try select the translation and click Approve translation reviews
7. It shows 'This action does not apply to any of the selected translation jobs
8. Revisit the page but no luck. You can visit the page from hidden link
