Hi there.

Before this ticket gets assigned to my colleagues, I will try to help.

The proper way to translate strings depends a lot on how they have been implemented inside the theme/plugin.

Please try both methods and see if any of them resolves the issue.

Method 1:

Go to WPML > String Translation and at the bottom of the page you will find a checkbox called "Look for strings while pages are rendered". You can enable (check) that and then go to the front end to a page where you have that string showing up and then go back to WPML > String Translation and search for that string and see if it now shows up.

Method 2: If you can't find them inside the WPML > String Translation, they might be added as admin text strings.

This should be the normal process to find and translate admin text strings:

Please let us know how that goes.

I've tried these solutions but none of them work.

Hello There,
Thanks for contacting WPML Support.

I have taken over this ticket and will try my best to assist you in this matter.

The steps my colleague Mihai provided should help with translating such status strings. However, since they didn’t resolve the issue, could you please let me know if the text you're trying to translate is default text provided by WooCommerce, or if it’s custom text added through a plugin or code modifications?

If it is default text, please try the following steps to resolve the issue:

- Go to WPML > Support > Troubleshooting.
- Scroll down and click on the button labeled "Show custom MO Files Pre-generation dialog box." A popup will appear.
- In the popup, click the "Generate MO Files" button and wait for the generation process to complete.
- Clear the caches from your site and browser, then check again.

If it is custom text, please let me know how you added it. Sharing a screenshot would be very helpful for understanding the issue and providing further guidance.

Let me know the update. I will be happy to help if you need further assistance in this matter.

Best regards,
Prosenjit
