Good morning,

My website is: jeromemarien.fr
In WP the pages and the posts are translated in English and spanish:
English: jeromemarien.com
Spanish: jeromemarien.es
Option: DO NOT DISPLAY LANGUAGES

I have 2 custom post types:
. My proprietes (my properties)
exemple:
hidden link
. My acteur du marché immobilier ( actors of real estate market)
Exemple:
hidden link

I tried 3 times to translate automatically these posts and I couldn't do it.
Also I updated the slug translation in the WP :
properties: /vente-immobilier/ > English: /real-estate-sales/
But this change doesn't show on front.

What setting shall I change in WPML to translate automatically all custome posts inclusing custom fields.

I have restored a clean website release,

Thank you in advance for your hep!!

Best regards

Jérôme

Hello Jérôme,

thanks for contacting us.

Let's go over 1 thing at a time to keep things clear, and if needed, and if any other issues we will open a new ticket for it.

For your CPTs and ACF, please check next:

- Make sure they are set as translatable https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-custom-posts/

- Make sure to use the ACFML addon and setup our custom fields translation correctly via Expert mode or select the core mode for each group. Then depending on these settings the content of your field will be copied or translated.

https://wpml.org/documentation/related-projects/translate-sites-built-with-acf/

Let me know how it goes.

Regards,
Drazen

Hi Drazen,

I followed your recommendations, thank you very much, now my custom post types and field groups are translated correctly.

Last issue: Problem of URL.

The URL of translated post types are not clean, they have parameter."?post_type"

Example for a custom post type: "Propriété"
In french
hidden link

In English:
hidden link

En spanish:
hidden link

THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP!

Jérôme

Hi Drazen,

I solved the problem of permalinks.

Example:
hidden link
hidden link
hidden link

Problem:
I went to WPML/ String translation
I translated.
/vente-immobilier/
> English: Sale
> Spanish: ventas

But it doesn't work as you can see.

Why?

best regards

Jérôme

Hello Jérôme,

We limit 1 issue per 1 ticket, to keep things clear and easy to follow. I have opened a new ticket for your new issue:

Since the original issue of this ticket is resolved I advise closing this one and continue our conversation in the new ticket.

Regards,
Drazen

I found the solution: update the URL in Trsinga translation

+

Go to WPML Setting, Post Types Translation and click save in Propriete translated URLS
