I am trying to:
translate "Info Block" from Kadence WP blocks

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
hidden link

I expected to see:
Translated text from "content" and "title" of this block

Instead, I got:
Non-Translated text form "content"

I have a problem with the translation of the "Info Block".
The header is translated, but the content of the block is not (screen).
In WPML translation editor everything is ok. What could be the cause?

Hi there.

Before this ticket gets assigned to my colleagues, I want to try and help.

Not sure if you are using the Advanced Translation Editor but this is what they are recommending on their website:
hidden link

There might also be a chance that you need to register the block so that WPML can see it:

I hope that you will find this information helpful.

Kind regards,

The solution with its own XML configuration works, but now in WPML translation edior I have duplicated several times the same lines (see screen).

My XML config:

<wpml-config>
  <gutenberg-blocks>
    <gutenberg-block type="kadence/infobox" translate="1">
      <xpath>//*</xpath>
    </gutenberg-block>
  </gutenberg-blocks>
</wpml-config>

Is there any way to correct this?

Hello,

that would happen only if these duplicate texts actually exist on pages or if some leftovers are causing issues.

Can you please check, or create a new page add only that block and check if the issue still happens?

Regards,
Drazen

On the new pages, the translation entries are also duplicated. I also noticed that after XML config I cannot translate the URL assigned to this block. Any idea how fix that?

In the sandbox, the "InfoBlock" block translates as it should. I am curious why in my wordpress not? Well, but let's leave this topic as resolved temporarily. Instead, I ask for help with the translation of the "URL" of this block (I need it for unusual links on my site). Is it possible to do it?

Hi there,

Thank you for the updates. I am Subash and I will help you here as Drazen will be away today.

If it is working in the sandbox then most probably in your live site it could be due to interference from some third-party plugin/theme or code.

I recommend:
- Edit the page with the issue, update the page with a small change in title or content so as to trigger a translation update.
- Then try to edit the translation again to see if it helps with the issue.

- If that does not works, you might need to test it with all plugins and theme non-related to this issue deactivated and see how it goes. However do that on a staging site only or completely backup the site first to prevent any issues.

Regarding the URL translation, If you set the URL completely , I see the URL is auto translated if it is an Internal link. ( As you can see at hidden link now )

Or you can also search for http from the top search bar while in the Translation editor and you will be able to see the link to translate it.

I hope this helps. Please let me know how it goes or if you need further help with this issue.

Regards,
Subash

Thank you. I have one more problem. This time I can't translate the form option (from radio field). Notice that the translation editor does not show these options ("Opcja1", "Opcja2").

Hello,

We limit 1 issue per 1 ticket, to keep things clear and easy to follow. I have opened a new ticket for your new issue:

- https://wpml.org/forums/topic/split-cant-translate-the-form-option/

Since the original issue of this ticket is probably resolved I advise closing this one and continue our conversation in the new ticket.
