Problem:
If you're experiencing an issue where the '&' character disappears from the URL after saving it in the translation editor, this is a known problem.
Solution:
We recommend trying the following steps:
1. Open the page in the translation editor.
2. Click on the settings icon located in the top-right area.
3. Enable 'Use the previous version of the advanced translation editor'.
Please note that this is a temporary workaround as the issue is a high priority for us, but we do not have a specific timeline for a permanent fix. For more details, you can check the related known issue here: WPML Errata.

Hi there.

This is a known issue and has already been escalated to our developers:
https://wpml.org/errata/advanced-translation-editor-ate-removes-ampersand-from-urls/

As a workaround, you can try the following:

Open the page in the translation editor. On the top-right area there is a settings icon. Click on it and enable "Use the previous version of the advanced translation editor".

* This is a high priority issue, but we cannot provide an exact timeline for when a fix or patch will be released.

I hope that you will find this information helpful.
