This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you're experiencing an issue where the '&' character disappears from the URL after saving it in the translation editor, this is a known problem.
Solution:
We recommend trying the following steps:
1. Open the page in the translation editor.
2. Click on the settings icon located in the top-right area.
3. Enable 'Use the previous version of the advanced translation editor'.
Please note that this is a temporary workaround as the issue is a high priority for us, but we do not have a specific timeline for a permanent fix. For more details, you can check the related known issue here: WPML Errata.
If this solution does not apply to your case, or if it seems outdated, we highly recommend checking other related known issues, verifying the version of the permanent fix, and confirming that you have installed the latest versions of themes and plugins. Should you need further assistance, please do not hesitate to open a new support ticket at WPML support forum.
