Sir, I really want to help you here but i strongly need you to listen to me and to what i ask of you. i asked if you could leave the plugins disabled OR give me permission to disable them. that request WON'T fix the problem it will just allow me to check the problem in a better and faster way. we are stuck on this step for many days already and if we keep ging in circles i will never be able to help you solve this problem. i really want to help you but at this point i ask you to please allow me to dsable plugins and theme if needed. backup your site first and then let me know when i can continue because otherwise i won't be able to help you. regards. |

The problem showed here --> https://wpml.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/9013951-wpml_adv_trans_editor_json_error.png is happening because your server has REST disabled. please ask the hosting support to enable it IF you want to use the advanced translation editor. If you want to use the classic translation editor then that is not needed but at this point there won't be issues at all with the translations 🙂 If you want to see everything that i did, you can check this video: hidden link ---------------------- I also saw that your WPML URL format was set to parameters which doesn't work with Buddypress (as seen in the notification that would appear now about this): hidden link I have already fixed that and made sure it worked. Regards. |

The REST issue is likely a server-side issue and you may contact the siteground support so they can check what's going on and help you solve this. About the other issue. may i know how to reproduce it? i mean, can you give me a reference page i can use and then lists the steps you are taking to get the error so i can try them and figure out what we can do next? thanks. |

you seem to hv forgotten about this ... and interestly enough, i installed the work-around suggeted - AND THE PROBLEM WENT AWAY! also interestingly - 1. REST is NOT inactive! 2. the problem is YOUR code. gee. surprise. now all we hv to do is work out how to actually USE it. at first glance, NOT user-friendly and easy to understand how to ACTUALLY do translations regards don |

Hm, interestingly however this issue is not happening to other users (and we're talking about over 2M sites) and hasn't happened ever since it was fixed so it could be a regression and i'll inform our devs about it (that's why i never even suggested it before). Apart from that what other issue are you experiencing that i can help you with? after the REST is enabled, can you enable the advanced translation editor? because i'm suspecting that you might have another issue there since the procedure was interrupted because of this REST issue (but i can fix that). let me know please. |

1) What content do you want to translate? (give me an example of one page that is not showing anything, as a reference so i can access the site and check it out) Can you please let me know so i can understand what to do now? |

h why does index.php not show up as content to translate? 2. and i just realised where are all my Profile Fields and Profile Matching fields? after all that wasted time to fix YOUR bugs, and i still don't see anything meaningful to translate and all you seem to do is throw me into Elementor!! 3. and where are the automatic translation engines? i did not see any. cheers don |
