I am trying to edit permalinks of 2 translated pages (Hebrew),
For some reason there is no field "Permalinks" in the advanced translator so I just edit through wordpress,
It worked for most pages but for these 2 it just doesn't change:

Hello!
If I have understood you correctly, it is possible that the slug is not sent to the translation.
This could be caused by the setting: WPML > Setting > Translated documents options > Page URL section being set to: "Auto generate title from original"

The relevant documentation: https://wpml.org/documentation/getting-started-guide/translating-page-slugs/#sending-post-or-page-slugs-to-translators

Perhaps you should attempt to change that setting to "Translate" and do a small change in the original page and re-send it to translation.
This should fix it.

Hello,
Thank you for your response,
I've changed the option to "translate", but I still can't seem to find the option to change the slug in the "Advanced editor".
I tried changing it again editing the post directly but doesn't work.

Thanks a lot.

Hi There,
Thank you for the update.

Enabling the "Page URL" option to "Translate" should result in the appearance of a slug field in the Translation Editor, allowing you to add a translation for the slug. Since it is not happening, I kindly request you share the WPML Debug Info so that I can get a better overview of your site and system. Please check the link below to learn more about how you can get the info.

After obtaining the debug information, please copy and paste it into the Debug Info box, which will be available when you submit your next response. I will check and let you know what to do next.

Looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hi There,
Thank you for sharing the debug information.

From the Debug Info, I can see that the necessary configuration to translate the page/post slug is made correctly. Since the URL field is still not showing in the Translation editor, a closer inspection will be required to understand the root cause.

I would like to request temporary access (wp-admin and FTP) to your site to take a better look at the issue. It would be better to have a testing site where the issue is replicated.

You will find the needed fields below the comment area when you log in to leave your next reply. The information you will enter is private which means only you and I can see and have access to it.

Maybe I'll need to replicate your site locally. For this, I’ll need to temporarily install a plugin called “Duplicator” or "All in One WP Migration" on your site. This will allow me to create a copy of your site and your content. Once the problem is resolved I will delete the local site. Let me know if this is ok with you.

IMPORTANT
-Please backup site files and database before providing us access.
-If you do not see the wp-admin/FTP fields this means your post & website login details will be made PUBLIC. DO NOT post your website details unless you see the required wp-admin/FTP fields. If you do not, please ask me to enable the private box. The private box looks like this:

Looking forward to your response.

Best Regards,
Prosenjit

Hello, I have no problem of you logging in, but not downloading plugins or making any changes.
I can send you screenshots of what you like, but maybe you should check with other sites too- there is no option for permalinks in the advanced translator with rankmath plugin.

Thanks, Neta

Hi Neta,
Thank you for the update.

For your information, We have only one known issue with the Rankmath plugin that you can see here: https://wpml.org/errata/rank-math-seo-turning-on-strip-category-base-causes-issues-with-secondary-languages/

However, I have conducted a test by installing the Rankmath Plugin and can confirm that the URL always appears in the Translation editor.

The issue appears to be specific to your site, and pinpointing the exact cause will require a more detailed examination. Given that your site is currently live, it would be advisable to replicate the problem on a staging site. Please provide access to this staging site in your next response, so we can proceed with a thorough investigation.

I have enabled the private fields for you so that you can securely share the access.

Looking forward to your response and I'm always here to help!

Best regards,
Prosenjit

Hello,
I tried editing again using shorter links and it worked.

There must be some kind of difficulty accepting the longer rankmath links, not sure why.

Thank you for your help.
