Hi there,

I am using the WPML and the Event Calendar Pro plugins for this site.
Once the WPML plugins are activated, I am getting an error in the event editor page.

"Notice: Function WP_Object_Cache::get was called incorrectly. Cache key must be integer or non-empty string, NULL given. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.1.0.) in /home/sprucedev/public_html/sites/rosetest/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5835

Notice: Function WP_Object_Cache::set was called incorrectly. Cache key must be integer or non-empty string, NULL given. Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 6.1.0.) in /home/sprucedev/public_html/sites/rosetest/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5835"

I have deactivated most of the plugins, keeping only:
-The Events Calendar (Version 6.0.9)
-The Events Calendar PRO (Version 6.0.8)
-WPML Multilingual CMS (Version 4.5.14 )
-WPML String Translation (Version 3.2.3)

I have tried using the WP 2021, 2022 Themes, and it's still showing the error.

The error only shows up for Series Events (recurring events). The non-recurring events are not displaying the error message.

What is the issue and can this be fixed?

Thanks!

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting WPML support.

I've checked your screenshot and it doesn't look like the error is pointing toward WPML. But it could be cache related. Could you please try deactivating all your other 3rd party plugins one at a time and see if it works?

If the issue persists, I would need to take a closer look at your site. So I would need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed

IMPORTANT: Please, note, a backup is required for security reasons, and to avoid any data loss, you can use the https://wordpress.org/plugins/updraftplus/plugin for these backup needs.

Your following answer will be private, which means only you and I have access to it.

✙ I would need your permission to de-activate and re-activate Plugins and the Theme and to change configurations on the site if required. This is also a reason the backup is critical.

Thanks!

Kor

Thank you Kor! It seems to be an issue from the event calendar pro plugins, I have already contacted them about this problem.

Thanks again!
